CTE courses are performance-based. When teachers let students know exactly how their work will be evaluated, the students’ level of performance always improves. Come and participate in a hands-on activity that uses a rubric, determine where the rubric made a positive difference in your performance, and then design a rubric for one of your own student projects with the help of West-MEC specialists.
Bring the assignment for one of your student projects and your current grading criteria for that project with you to help get this practical day started.
