Oscar Olivas

Oscar Olivas has worked in education for over 30 years. During much of his career, Oscar served as a high school education teacher in Arizona. The first half of his career in the following disciplines: Sports Medicine, Social Studies, Anatomy & Physiology and Spanish. The second half in Career and Technical Education teaching Construction Technology and Welding. He has also served in a variety of industry and education board, and the Career and Technical Student Organization SkillsUSA. Currently he works as a Professional Development Specialist, is also an NCCER Master Trainer, OSHA 1910 General, OSHA 1926 Construction trainer at West-MEC and has been an adjunct instructor at the post-secondary level. Oscar is passionate about participating and providing quality Career and Technical Education for students and instructors. Oscar is married has a son and three dogs.
